We sent this to an overnight camp with a 10 year old and they mentioned when they got home that it was the best poncho they've had at camp since they left. (Also, it was raining while they were in storage.) The snap-on "sleeves" appear to be much better than the other models, and the plastic seems quite strong and doesn't tear easily. You'll never put it back in the mesh pouch it came in, but it served us well during summer camp.
