I have some 2x4 USB switches. This limits you to 2 input devices with 4 or more USB outputs. I say "bigger" because you can often connect USB hubs to 4 outputs, greatly expanding your outputs. You may be able to chain your switches to allow more than 2 input devices - I've done this and it works great except you have to press more buttons to get the correct source input. I have 3 input devices (2 PCs). and Blu-ray player) with whom I wanted to share a 6-out USB hard drive dock. This 4x4 USB switch solved the problem without daisy chaining two 2x4 switches. I just took a 7 port USB hub and plugged it into an outlet on the switch and then connected the docking stations to the hub. I think the limit for connected USB devices is 127, giving you plenty of room to expand. So far the switch is working flawlessly and allows me to split 60+ terabytes of external storage across 3 inputs.
