If you look at the sample picture for a guide you will be disappointed but this is not a painted version so don't go into it. As with most of these kits, there is an issue with opacity, especially with light colors. However, I wasn't able to get paint #8 to completely hide the canvas or number. I slightly modified the orange bush on the left and added some detail to the blue mountain peaks, but otherwise kept the colors as per the printed instructions. Apply Gesso Cleaner to the entire surface before starting work. This allows the paint to adhere better to the surface. Upon completion I applied a coat of a high gloss sealer called Mod Podge. I bought the frame the wrong size and am planning to resize it so that only the image is visible with no borders. Overall I was very satisfied when I finished. It was very difficult, but beautiful and enjoyable.
