The haze is very distracting for people like me. I took the lid off and used it.
Horror, horror, horror. It is anti-reflective but has cloudiness. The haze is very distracting for people like me. I removed the cover and used the Surface for 8 months without a screen protector. I've kept it in my bag - sometimes without the keyboard cover - and it's never been scratched. If you really need good protection I would buy the tempered glass version which is transparent. Think of glare protection like this. If it were good, everyone would use it. Nobody does
