These chair covers are SO NICE. For the price I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. They are thick and velvety. The elastic goes all the way around and is sewn all the way with no gaps or weird bumpy spots. I got the red and it is a true red, very vibrant. There are 4 ties on each cover to adjust the fit even more. I needed chair covers to hide some old rolling office chair seats and these were perfect-1 on the seat and one tied on the back. Now they look updated and not just dirty old chairs! They are similar to a toilet seat cover-just pull the elastic wide and put them on the chairs then use the ties to adjust the fit. Having said that-I did an experiment and put them on my dining room chairs-they don't fit mine due to the way the back attaches to the seat. But, on my bar stools where the seat is separate from the back, they popped right on there and fit perfectly. For the price, quality and just all around niceness of the covers-I am well pleased with this purchase. 5 stars.
