I love these mesh-type harnesses, they’re the best for very small dogs! This harness is a very pretty, mostly well made harness, but it has a serious design flaw.It has one great feature - I love the locking mechanism for the snap buckle, I’d never seen that before in a pet harness! It’s very easy to engage and disengage, and the clip will NOT open when it’s locked.The harness is easy enough to get your dog’s legs into, but closing it securely isn’t possible for my dog bc they made the surfaces of the Velcro patches on each side SO TINY that it’s impossible to close it enough to securely fit my Mini Dachshund. I’ve tried overlapping it to make it as small as possible, but then when he’s wearing it, the whole harness slides to the left and right while walking on the leash. For that reason, I went back to my original Eco Bark mesh harness.The color is stunning, especially on my dog’s chocolate fur! But bc it’s such a light color, it gets absolutely filthy and looks gross VERY quickly. That’s not the company’s fault, I should’ve realized that would happen and stuck with darker colors…but FYI to everyone else!For both those reasons, I don’t feel as though I can recommend this harness unless you’re 100% sure you won’t need the extra Velcro to adjust the size. The color thing is a personal preference, it’s still a gorgeous color!
