My husband wore them at home because his feet always hurt. smelled so bad because of the soft lining that I didn't even plan to clean them. one of the belts broke recently too. He was with him about 7 months. I don't think it had anything to do with how he treated them, I think it just happened because he wore them as his slippers 99.999% of the time.
