Review on Instant Pot Star Wars™ Duo™ R2-D2 🤖 Edition – 6-Qt. Pressure Cooker for Out-of-This-Galaxy Meals! by Justin Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Used for a week so far, used every day. LOVE IT.

I'm so mad at myself for not getting one of these sooner. Much less dishwashing! I cooked spaghetti with meat sauce in MINUTES instead of cooking it in a slow cooker for hours. I'd say it's better to let it simmer in the slow cooker for a few hours, but it's still very good in IP and allows me to be a lot more lazy and not have to really "plan" meals like that I used to do it The fact that I can easily set this thing to "Slow Cooker" means I can probably just throw my pot away, or at least store it somewhere until I have guests and need to use both appliances at the same time. The only complaints I have are: 1. The silicone o-ring is an absolute aroma magnet. I've cleaned it 3 times and it still smells like BBQ ribs I made 4 days ago. I recommend getting spare O-rings and using one for "smoked" foods (like BBQ ribs etc), a second for "regular" savory foods, and maybe a third if you plan on putting yogurt or desserts in them Cook. future iterations, i want them to do something about it.2. Maybe change the design of the lid so you can just toss the entire top lid in the dishwasher without taking anything apart (except maybe the ring?). Either way, if you don't already have an Instant Pot, you MUST get one. There are many Youtube videos on the Internet that show simple recipes with great taste. I've never eaten any of it that I didn't like. The meat always comes out very tender and the texture "falls off the bone." Rice (REAL RICE, not instant rice) also always comes out perfect and quick. That's great.
