These socks are very comfortable. They are very thick and cushion my rubber boots very well! I like looking for treasure and combing the beach. Sometimes I sink deeper than I expected, or I get caught by a wave and the water breaks through my boot, leaving my feet wet. With a kilometer to go, wet feet are uncomfortable and can chill you to the bone. Well, not anymore! Even though my boots are wet, my feet stay warm and hot. The sock feels like neoprene between two layers of fabric. This creates a pleasant feeling on the skin. The top has a tight elastic band that prevents water from entering the sock. You can literally stand dry feet in the ocean surf. Anyone who walked along the beach saw this precious shell fall back into the sea. Well, now you can follow it and not cut short your walk because of cold wet feet. Just make sure you have pants with elastic around the ankles too. I have also used them for surf fishing. The only downside is that they are thicker than most socks. So if you have tight shoes, they can get tight. Luckily I always take my shoes a little bigger. I love these socks and can't wait to try them out in the snow!
