Bought these as a cheap replacement and they didn't last long. Installation was easy, but the bar end caps were a little loose and fell out at least once for the first few weeks (after that I started replacing them before every ride). The big problem was that the material on them had just started to disintegrate. The grip zones just wore out, leaving a bit of blue dust on my hands after my longest ride on them. I've mountain biked a lot and stapled a lot, but that's what they advertise. They were fine for the daily commute around the block with my kids, but had to be given up fairly quickly.
