Review on Hankook Ventus V12 evo 2 Summer Radial Tire Review: 255/40R19 93Y by Janis Berzins ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I thought it would be better, but overall not bad.

I took the dimension 205/50 R17 a year ago. Moved from Bridgestone MY-01, which drove 6 seasons. Compared to the Bridges, I was pleased with the handling, low noise level and soft ride. Also, the price is not much more expensive than the Chinese, but noticeably cheaper than the "top" brands. It has very good reviews though. Everything was fine until one night he flew into a hole. The result is a hernia on both wheels on the right side (front and rear). Both wheels are ejection only, you can not ride. Bottom line: minus 11,000 for entering the hole. I note that there was no particularly terrible blow. A pit is like a pit - there are a lot of them on our roads. I have never caught a hernia on any other tires in many years. Sometimes, even bent discs, but the tires did not noticeably suffer. I am sure that only the extremely unsuccessful design and low strength of these tires are to blame. Perhaps this is done on purpose (so that they buy new tires more often). I do not advise anyone to take. As a result, there is no savings, it was better to buy some Michelin, Nokian, etc. Let it be more expensive, but for 5-6 seasons you can normally ride.

Pros
  • - Quiet - Soft - Relatively reasonable price - Good handling
Cons
  • - Extremely fragile sidewalls! It is very easy to catch a hernia.
