I needed something to hold the patio doors open in my new house. Traditional doorstops will not work because the gap between the door and the floor is larger than usual. The doors look like French doors at first glance, but actually have a fixed panel and an opening door with a hinge in the middle so the door opens right up against the glass panel. I used to use stuffed animals. to keep the doors from banging against the walls, but they weren't heavy enough to keep the doors open. I was very happy to find them and bought two. They hold the door open very well and I just leave it on the solid plate so the handle doesn't hit the glass. They look very cute just sitting there. I could order one for the front door, although I don't really need it. All of the weight is on the bottom so they stay in place nicely. I was particularly impressed by the material and the quality. If you remember from childhood that there were always nicer stuffed animals that cost more, then these would fall into that category. They are very soft. I am very satisfied and feel that I got more than I could reasonably expect for the price.
