I bought two of these on April 4th 2011. Today (08/31/2012) I finally switched to the second one. The first lasted for a year and four months of intensive daily use. That's 10 to 16 hours of heavy use every day, seven days a week. I paid $13.22 for them and about $2.25 for shipping. So these headphones, which cost me around $15.45 at the time of purchase, have given me about 6,500 hours of use. and the only reason I'm switching to the second one now is because I'm too lazy to open the first one and fix the free wire. That's about $00,002 or two-tenths of a cent for an hour of good quality usage. For me this is a very good offer. The only downside to them and the only reason they don't get 5 stars in my review is that they lack a bit of range and some of the heavier bass tones don't translate. However, they're not really designed to be used as headphones, so it's not a big deal. The voice is clear through them, other people can hear me well, and if I'm too lazy to switch to good headphones when listening to music or watching videos, well, it just goes to show that the multimedia sound isn't bad is enough to keep me from being lazy. :)
