Unlike regular paper towels these are very stiff making them really difficult to use for anything other than liquids on flat surfaces. They promise you can throw them in the washing machine and wash them, but I just don't want to be a guinea pig to find out if their all-natural (great!) materials will clog washer drains and if they'll cost me more than a pair. more rolls of paper towels. I might not shake them, but I just don't think it's worth the risk. Of course, you can also wring them out and let them dry. If you're trying to be eco-friendly then it's worth trying them out to see if they fit your lifestyle. I personally disagree with the complete replacement of our paper towels with these.
