Received the cool box today. I bought it for our trailer when we go camping. Anyone who has camped outside knows how difficult it is to keep everything frozen for long periods of time. Seems like another ice pack needs to be added every day. (no, I don't have cheap coolers either). I unpacked it, put it in the living room and threw in a digital thermometer. It was 74 degrees. Turned it on and came back 2 hours later to check and it was at 42. After 4 hours it never dropped below that temp. It seems fine to me. I plan to freeze some bottled water in the travel trailer freezer during my camping trip and add a bottle or two a day to keep everything cold. We bought a small ice maker for cocktails last year and also add extra ice to our coolers. I will update this review after our next trip to Klyuchi in May. Put this thing to the test in hot Florida! TO EDIT. So we have this cooler with us in the Florida Keys for 3 days now, 90 degrees every 3 days, the cooler runs like a champ. I don't understand why the price has gone up over $100 since I got mine, but if it lasts a while I'd happily pay the difference. Heck, I already spent $10 on ice in my Coleman Extreme Cooler. I have no way of checking the temperature but I can tell you it's not very cold. Drinks can of course be drunk, but not as cold as we would like. I definitely wouldn't store food in it in this heat. The cooler is also in the shade. I may need to put it in an air conditioned RV to keep it at a good temperature.
