Look, I don't mean to sound whiny and ungrateful, but these waffles are awful. They have no real flavor and are so dry they literally sucked all the saliva out of my mouth WHILE I was chewing. Even after I fried them well and covered them with oil and syrup, they just seemed like fibers. indigestible fiber. I really hate throwing away food (kids are starving in Indonesia) so I came up with the idea of using leftover waffles as a mineral filter in my vaporizer. I have an old-fashioned, extinct behemoth, a Vicks V790N (bulky though, but reliable) and nobody seems to make filters specifically for this model anymore, so I have to improvise. I cut the waffle into a smaller circle to fit the bottom of the steam chamber and it seems to work fine. Oh, if you try this, DO NOT toast or season the waffles first. It's VERY hard to get maple syrup out of the inside of a vaporizer and now my apartment smells like IHOP. live and learn
