Review on ๐Ÿบ Husky HB4500 4500 lbs. Brute Power Jack in Hammer Gray Finish: Superior Strength and Durability by Paul Green

Great jack but with leveling and stabilization

installed the jack today. I was surprised to find a plastic case/lid. 6-inch cables aren't long enough for most standard installations, at least not for those wanting to wire properly. In addition, the jack has to be rotated 90 degrees so that the tailgate can still be opened on my truck so that there is clearance. The Husky, like the Bulldog, should have additional mounting holes. but no, you need to drill new holes in the mounting base to install this mod. I think this is a quality jack with enough strength to lift the heaviest trailer tongues. It runs very smoothly, very quietly compared to other jacks, and the speed is as good or better than most. I would like to see a longer wire, say 8' min, and a mounting plate that allows for a variety of mounting options. Other than that I'm very happy with this purchase, let's see how long it lasts, if I have any problems see an update. If there are no updates, everything is fine.

Pros
  • Fitted with a friction reducing ball screw normally only found in more expensive jacks
Cons
  • The list goes on.
