I needed new mixing bowls, and at the same time, stacks of Tupperware and Pyrex storage containers in our small kitchen seemed to be getting out of hand. I decided to start with them. These are beautiful, durable bowls that can be used for mixing/cooking, serving and storage. I love the idea of having an attractive shell set that does it all. They take up little space and fit well. The lids fit well and appear to be quite strong and flexible. The only criticism I have is that the lids are very tight and difficult to put on, although they will likely loosen over time. I'll update this review if they start cracking or breaking like I've had with some brands but I've been using them often for about a month and so far they're in perfect shape. Since these bowls only hold 2.5 liters, I added a 3.5 liter bowl from the Lys Clear Stackable Bowl series. They have the same style and match perfectly.
