This is a great multi-purpose collar. First I wanted a white collar. My dog is mostly white and I think he looks awful with those awkward black plastic collars. This collar is made from soft nylon and has smooth lines that look a lot less aggressive than traditional black shocker collars. Next, I really just wanted a collar that beeped. I needed a training device for my hearing impaired puppy. She LOVES to run, we have a 5 acre property and the wind blows quite often here. Needless to say, I don't want to keep yelling at her for over five mornings and she probably won't hear me anyway. I taught her to cum with the bleep option, which she loves to do. I started when she was about 6 months old and gave her treats every time she squeaked. In the end, the vibration variant became either a "no" answer to an unwanted bark, or an answer to ignoring the first beep. When she sees the collar, she knows it's time to go outside. I can't imagine walking her off a leash or letting her roam free on our property and she never goes outside off a leash but we don't leave any at home. This is complete salvation. It holds a charge well, the remote is easy to hold, use and program, and everything about Roffie changed the game! I liked the horn option to call them quietly across the yard (without having to yell or whistle, which of course the neighbors will hear). I liked it so much that I bought it for my older dog (who has selective hearing ;)) just to get rid of the yelling and whistling completely.
