I use a 2-4 cup stainless steel coffee maker to make coffee and it was difficult to use the smaller basket filters as there was no hole in the center for the coffee pot leg. The rupture of one of them caused a soil leak. I can't dump dirt down the drain in the kitchen as it's far from the septic tank so I needed something else to help. These do! I use 2 pots apiece, fill half the coffee (or tea, I might add because the percolator does a great job of brewing tea too) into one and set it on one side of the stainless steel basket and the other half on the other. Coffee on the other side. Makes great coffee (or tea) with no mess and no aftertaste. Very happy with it and worth the cost. I will always use them!
