I bought it and a few other bags to decide which I'd like to use as a carry on for summer vacation, and I ended up settling on this one. I love the strap options for carrying, it definitely met Spirit's carry on specs, and held all of the items I typically carry on (11" laptop, kindle, chargers, bluetooth speaker, sweatshirt, scarf (use as a blanket), collapsible water bottle, contact lens accessories and glasses, and other odds & ends). It zips up securely. I don't pack light enough or maybe just don't take short enough trips to consider skipping the checked bag in favor of this. I have used it for overnight trips to visit family and think it is an excellent, securely constructed bag.Update 10/3/18-- I've used this for over a year now and it still looks the same as when I got it. Really good investment!
