Fantastic wine opener. This one is sturdier with more leverage than the one it replaced and this has lasted over 10 years and outlasted some other fancier openers like rabbit openers. Simple design with strong connections and construction. This opener has more leverage than competing smaller models. Unplugging the connector is also very easy. There are two ridges that keep the cork centered when you take it out of the bottle. To remove it from the opener, keep it pinched by these two edges and unscrew the handle until it's almost out of the cork. Then push the cork through the handle and - voila - it pops out easily.
