This torch is much better and seems to heat up rusty bolts etc quicker than standard tube torches or even cheap gas torches that you get. Hardware stores or auto parts stores. I bought an extra adapter so I can place the flashlight directly on top of the propane tank, but the gas hose came in handy a few times for locations where the propane tank needs to be level. the angle at which liquid propane flows into the burner that would normally put it out, so it's good to have that on hand as well.
