This is a great phone system for a small office. I was looking for a subscription-free solution and a way to manage features "in-house" and that was what I needed. The biggest point I would change (and the reason for the appended star) is that auto attendants only let you select business and non-business hours for EVERY day. In my opinion, there should be a way to change the working hours to every day. For example, the ability to set working hours from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 a.m. and non-working hours - at night and on weekends. Since the hours you set are for EVERY day, this presents a problem. Example: My shop is closed on the weekend, but if someone calls me during the day on a Saturday or Sunday, they hear the auto attendant during office hours instead of hearing that I have closed. I got around this by mentioning my office hours in the auto attendant's office hours greeting. Another option I would change is the auto attendant's ability to answer immediately. With this system, only the lowest rings can advance to "2". This means the phone must ring twice before the auto attendant answers. Finally, as a third option I would add that the handsets flash a light to indicate there is a message on the handset (I know this is an accessory and not a main station but thought I'd mention it here, because it is good knows). Aside from the points above, I really like this system. There are lots of bells and whistles. Music on hold [including the ability to add your OWN music on hold. something that would be an obstacle for me as I wanted to add my own original music (I'm a musician)], the ability to have separate mailboxes for each extension, the ability to add wireless HANDSETS and wireless HEADSETS, the ability to screen calls, Paging, call transfer, call hold and more. phone system. Both are great. I really enjoy using the HEADset as it gives me the ability to type and do other things while on the call, especially when on the phone at a pace. Overall, I'm happy with this business phone system. The bugs mentioned above are small enough not to affect my overall impression of the system. I've done quite a bit of research and haven't seen any other non-subscription phone systems with such features. And the price I paid was very reasonable.
