I bought different brands and styles to find the perfect spot for my GMC trunk lid. You have to look closely at my photos to see the camera. It is located at the bottom of the trunk lid, centered above the handle. It had the best picture, low light performance and was ideal for a very tight installation space. The smart switch makes it easy to turn guides on and off, as well as a variety of other features. I only installed it a few days ago, so I can't comment on durability, but so far I'm very happy with it. It's so small it just blends in and almost disappears, but it looks and works just as well as a factory installed camera. I am very happy with this purchase and will definitely buy again.
