Review on Acuvar 3100mAh NiMH High πŸ”‹ Capacity AA Rechargeable Batteries (Pack of 4) by Lindsey Scott

Revainrating 1 out of 5

SCAM - FAKE - LIAR

As stated by several others these Acuvar batteries are NOT 3100mah batteries. I recently bought a recorder that consumes a lot of batteries and takes more than 1 hour of recording. just. So I put my best performing rechargeable batteries in...or so I thought. I could have used my oldest batteries, which had less capacity. But once the batteries run out during recording - it's too late - it's irreversible. I contacted Revain and they refunded 100% of my money even though I bought them over a year ago. I haven't had a high battery drain recorder until recently, so I didn't notice the scam until I discovered that my older (theoretically weaker) batteries were outlasting them. I then turned to other negative reviews and then did my own review using my LaCrosse BC-1000 charger. Of course, Acuvars couldn't even reach half the advertised capacity. I have attached some pictures of fake Acuvar batteries and some comparisons to my other rechargeable AA batteries. Why are there so many 5 star reviews? Two trains of thought - companies these days demand good ratings from customers - and customers who don't know any better and can't test batteries give 5 stars. In addition, there are such companies that, since they are cheating anyway, are also willing to feed top-notch fraudulent reviews into the system. You can guess what it is. But I dare give these batteries a 5 star rating backed by photographic test evidence. I'll give my proof here! In my complaint to Revain I told them to take these counterfeit batteries off the market so I was told they had been sent to a department that would investigate the issue. That was 1 week ago (5/1/16) - since they haven't been removed yet, I decided to post this warning.
