Review on Bike Lift Hoist Garage Storage by Suhas Carney

Bought two and love that my bikes are now lifted and out of the way in my garage. Taking further general advice, I installed a 56" 2x4 joist bolted through 3 garage joists. 3-4" wheel studs at 3 points on joists. If you don't have a nail finder but have a garage opener, locate the joists and mark, usually 16 or 24 inches from where the garage opening will bolt to the ceiling rafter. The fixture works great and I used all the slots to screw in a 2x4. I bought more screws for that. Probably too much but I don't want it falling on me or my WRX! The device works great, I lift quite heavy mountain bikes. Rated at 100 lbs and feels like the lift is holding that much.My only gripe is the size of the rope is small as others have mentioned - maybe I'll change later.Good luck!
