hard plastic. Doesn't fit well.

Rigid plastic. I had to use a rubber mallet to hammer it in. So it's only suitable for the site I don't use. Had to order different ones to try on the driver's side so I could take off to get to the septic hose. Disappointing. Now I have 3 that I don't need.
