Clicks and Clicks/Good Price

Samsung 7 series TVs connect easily to the product and then to an older Sony receiver via the product's optical output jack, Sennheiser wireless headphones via the headset jack and compact Bose Cinemate speakers that can be connected using only the red and white RCA connectors. The sound is better than an old non-smart HDTV in every way. But the Bose speakers clapped loudly at every pause in the input signal, so I hooked up several Klipsch speakers to the receiver. The loudspeakers controlled by the receiver are not affected by the noise, although a dull click can be heard in the headphones. I can live with clicks, but not with pops. This article does the trick by pairing a modern TV with vintage sound gear, but it's in its infancy to live up to the price point. Found another app for Bose.
