I used a 1/4 inch diamond hole saw to drill holes in my ceramic bathroom tile to install these shelves. There are many videos on youtube showing how to do this - porcelain requires diamond hole saws if you want to be sure you don't split the tile. It's a bit of a chore and takes time to make each hole but it is the way to go. I then filled each hole with bathroom silicone and glued the included plastic wall anchors. I rotated the anchors as I inserted them to ensure the silicone was properly adhering to the walls of the hole and not just falling into the gap between the walls. I was then able to complete the installation by bolting, including stainless steel screws, into the shelf's mounting brackets, after which the shelves were installed in place.
