Good design needs improvement

Bought for my canaries. In one cage they work well, in another cage the birds throw a lot of seeds on the bottom of the cage, although the trellis falls through the structure. The bottom drawers need to be emptied more often than the feeder is full. I added rubber bands to keep the drawers from sliding back. They seem to enjoy this and drop the seeds on the floor, with the rubber band keeping the drawers closed. They use a lot of seeds but they are easy to recycle as they are clean.
