It seems to work: Office electronics

For the money I didn't know what to expect. I used a Wasp scanner so old it has PS2 ports. It had trouble reading small barcodes, so I decided to up my game and buy a 2D scanner. Wasp products are very good but expensive. It's small in comparison. It works out? Yes. So far I've been able to do everything I hoped I could. The only problem I had was connecting to the laptop after it was already connected to the desktop. The device had to be "removed" in order to connect it to the laptop. Otherwise everything is good. It reads Micro PDF417 small codes easily. Since I generate and print my own codes and have the opportunity to refine the code generation, I have no problems at all. I would recommend it to anyone tech savvy enough to troubleshoot connectivity issues. In my experience, Bluetooth is not always easy.

Pros
  • A few custom configuration options
Cons
  • Expensive
