I used this to replace my old Boss pond pump in my outdoor guppy pond and am very happy with the results. I had to lower the setting to reduce the power going to my sump filter because the chamber was filling up faster than my return spout could handle. The good thing is that the LED lamp has a separate cord so I can position it elsewhere in the pond where I want to get the effect I want. The only thing is that it's not grounded, which I think is an important safety feature. It's only been 2 days since I installed the unit, I'm now giving it 5 stars, will monitor the longevity of the product with proper use and will update the rating accordingly. So far I'm happy with my purchase.
