I ordered this to try spoon carving and so far it has been very easy to work with different types of wood, although you have to be careful with basswood work pieces as it is a soft wood and easy to take too much if you're not careful. They arrived early and in great shape. It was a great product for the price. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try their hand at wooden spoon carving at the beginning. They make great handmade gifts for the holidays. Overall a great product at an affordable price.
