Very good aquarium for Artemia. I use it to raise my Artemia babies as brood food and it's perfect for the job. It's very small, taking up minimal space on my table, but big enough to hatch a good portion of roast. It's being sold as an aquarium, I'm not sure. I can't imagine putting real fish in here - it's too small. It's only half a gallon. I have water bottles that hold more water than this one. wide top. LED lights are located in the center of the top cover and have a remote control. It didn't come with batteries and I don't really care about that feature so I didn't get batteries for it. Would be a good tank for small plants or just a simple water indicator. Well made and easy to clean
