Review on Outdoor Entertainment: 16 FT Inflatable Movie Screen for Front and Rear Projection – Perfect for Backyard Viewing! by Trae Joubert

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice pic. Cheap fan motor, no blow-off function.

I like almost everything about it, the picture it puts out from my 1080p HD projector is sharp and crystal clear, looks the same as my 4K HD HDR home TV. The fan motor housing is pretty cheap. Also, it has poorly translated instructions that say the fan will suck instead of blow if you connect it in reverse (reverse polarity). Apparently this is not a "feature" of this model and the blower it came with. While there isn't a quick and easy way to deflate the screen, I can tell you that simply folding and squeezing will get stuck and won't work if you just slowly let it deflate on its own, it takes about 40 minutes for it to self-deflate as flat as it will be on its own then you can slowly roll it up (I slowly folded mine as it deflated to build pressure to push more air out) I now use my backyard blower when using it at home . Otherwise, I just roll it up into a ball, compress as much air as possible, and toss it in the back seat. The set comes with plenty of rope stakes (grounded nails as they call them lol) to secure the top if it gets windy. And all you need for a patch is a whole pack of needles, patching material and black thread. I've used it about 5 times and now my only concern is the fan motor hitting the ground hard (when trying to stake stakes or similar situations waiting for it to break into millions of useless pieces as its really thin and is super fragile and firm). but flexible plastic. Finally. The first day I used this naturally turned into a mini storm day. On the ground he remained completely motionless. The screen appears to be fairly wrinkle-free even when deflated, but claims any creases are pulled out when inflated. I haven't seen 1 wrinkle since I received it, even with the way I treated it.

  • Happy for now
Cons
