I've used several USB-C monitors for laptops over the past few years. This is the lightest I've used so far. It is highly customizable, just spend a few minutes tweaking the settings to your liking. It's not as bright as some other devices, but if you set the maximum brightness to at least 70%, it looks pretty good. It's not 4K, just HD. But as a second monitor for on the go, it's good. I like the ability to send a signal to the monitor via USB C (USB C and USB C-to-A cables included) as well as mini-HDMI (this cable is also included). The HDMI connection is useful when used with a camera or monitored with an ATEM Mini-Console. I often use the monitor (on live seminars with multiple cameras). I like the touch screen of this device. I didn't need to install any drivers on my 2021 MacBook Pro M1. Just connect via USB C and you're done (no need to connect to a power source). For the money this is pretty good. There are several other devices that are brighter and look better. But they also cost a lot more. If you're looking for a good monitor that's lightweight, portable, and has a touchscreen that's versatile for use with both USB and HDMI, then this is a good option.
