Great for right application
When I first bought them I thought they had less cushioning than cheaper Spenco insoles so I didn't use them for several years. Then I tried inserting them into a pair of sandals which have the best built-in cushioning of any leather sandals I have tried. Voila! They improved the sandals and allowed me to walk further before my feet started hurting. I have terrible feet! Extremely flat with arthritis around the middle cuneiform. I use support in all footwear except Adidas Voloomix Slide Sandals which have the best cushioning of any footwear I have ever worn.
