Running happy! good for me

I love these gel inserts. My husband and I have purchased them in the past for our running shoes but the shoe store in the mall stopped carrying them so we tried another brand that we did not like. I came right to Walmart and was able to order exactly what we needed. They provide support and comfort. We are distance runners and I appreciate the gel cushion on the heels. We both are running happy!

Pros
  • Available in Men's and Women's sizes
Cons
  • May not provide enough heel support for those with heel pain

Hard work at the airport

My foot doctor suggested I purchase these inserts for my plantar fasciitis. He wanted to charge me over $40 and I said no and came to Walmart and found the exact same pair for half the price! I work at Bush Intercontinental Airport and stand roughly 4-5 hours a shift and walk approximately 5-6 miles in that same time. I need comfort and support in my shoes and these seem to be working really good. I go through inserts every 2-3 months so let me try these out and let you know how long they last.

Pros
  • Helps to correct the posture
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with custom orthotics

Second pair and loving it

This is my second pair; I have one in a pair of Air Maxx and one in a pair of dress shoes. I have wider feet, so getting the exact size makes my feet feel squished and since I am on my feet a lot (10,000 steps avg). My feet and knees would get sore. With these insoles I do order a 1/2 size up and have to cut a part of the top off but these are the best insoles I have found thus far. I can be on my fee for a good 6-8 hours and not have fatigue. Not so good for athletic events, as they do add…

Pros
  • On the 3rd day, this started to make my feet feel amazing.
Cons
  • May not provide enough cushioning for those with plantar fasciitis

Zero arch support good for me

I bought these to compare to my Apex inserts.and they lost terribly. They have nearly zero arch support and the blue gel padding might as well have paper. I expected more from Spenco, they are supposed to be the best, but nope.

Pros
  • Enhances athletic performance
Cons
  • May not provide enough support for standing all day

Love Spensos but these ones not so much.

Price point was good. Insole started to separate after 6 days of use. Used in work boots. I've purchased the spenco brand before but a different insole and wanted to try this one. Wasn't very happy with these unfortunately.

Pros
  • B003BRSR40
Cons
  • May not last as long as other insoles on the market

These are supportive but a little wiggly

These have a good supportive arch, but they are a little wiggly on the ball of my foot.almost as if they were made of Gel :) I put them in my walking shoes which lace up tight, so they seem to work fine. Haven't gone more than 3 miles, so don't know if they would eliminate the the foot aches from long hikes.

Pros
  • Look cheap like they wouldn't work but guess what they do not a bad deal
Cons
  • May not fit all shoe sizes properly

Relief - great for neuroma!

I have a neuroma which was causing me intermittent stabbing pain in my foot. The doctor recommended either superfeet green insoles or Spenco metatarsal supports. In my local store I only found superfeet so I bought those and odered the Spenco insoles on Walmart. I wore the superfeet for a few days but they were not very comfortable - extremely hard and made my heels hurt by the end of the day. When the Spenco insoles arrived I replaced the superfeet in my shoes with these gel insoles featuring…

Pros
  • unisex-adult
Cons
  • May fall apart over time

Best insole you can get

I got these in a pair of Jordan's I bought in New York in 2010 and they are the most comfortable trainers I've ever had. So I recently bought another pair exactly the same, without the insoles they weren't as good. I tried all sorts to identify these insoles that had been put in my old shoes and finally found them to be these. The Total Support Gel were hard to find, impossible in the UK, I ended up with a few wrong ones but finally got these from Walmart. Don't get any other like the iron man…

Pros
  • Combines gel and foam for maximum comfort
Cons
  • May cause foot swelling or inflammation

Work Best For Me in my review

For me the Spenco brand works best. I've had numerous ankle & foot surgeries. Any orthotic made for me at a doctors office ends up sitting in my closet. Try my darndest to make them work & I always return to Spenco.

Pros
  • Insoles
Cons
  • May not provide enough arch support for those with flat feet

Very supportive, thick, and heavy

These insert are fairly good for people with big feet. They are soft, comfortable, and provide decent support. I typically use the Dr. Scholls Massaging Gel Extra Support insoles. While the Spenco Total Supports were thicker, I did not find them to be significantly more comfortable. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because 1. They have no guides for cutting them down to fit shoes (I had to eyeball it to trim down to a 14EEEE). And 2. THEY ARE HEAVY. Be aware that these would not be very good as an…

Pros
  • I am 6 foot 7 and 350 lbs these work great in my work boots I noticed a diffrence the day I put them in!
Cons
  • My feet hurt the day I put them in. No support whatsoever.

Great for right application

When I first bought them I thought they had less cushioning than cheaper Spenco insoles so I didn't use them for several years. Then I tried inserting them into a pair of sandals which have the best built-in cushioning of any leather sandals I have tried. Voila! They improved the sandals and allowed me to walk further before my feet started hurting. I have terrible feet! Extremely flat with arthritis around the middle cuneiform. I use support in all footwear except Adidas Voloomix Slide Sandals

Pros
  • 2nd Purchase, & perfect fit & comfortable for my 11.5 shoes
Cons
  • May cause foot odor

Very Comfortable, Good Support

I have now tried both, the Total Support Insoles and the Total Support Gel Insoles by Spenco. I like them both - a lot. I would say that the Total Support Gel Insoles feel slightly thicker which may not work with some combinations of feet and shoes so keep that in mind. Both types of insole offer excellent support and comfort with a slight edge for shock absorption going to the gel version. Both versions are a dramatic improvement over the cheaper Spenco Cross Trainer insoles. The level of…

Pros
  • Work great for foot pain from planters fasciitis would recommend.
Cons
  • May add too much bulk to shoes

Happy feet! Happy wife!

I purchased these inserts because my husbands boots broke down on the inside but the exterior still was in excellent condition. His feet would be in pain by day's end and he usually would limp through the house. I saw these gels inserts and he agreed to try them. The inserts had to be trimmed because his boots have a squared toe and I worried they wouldn't lay properly in the boot. After we got them in, he loves them. He doesn't limp through the house after work any more and has not made one…

Pros
  • Comfortable insoles
Cons
  • May be difficult to trim to the correct size

Nice comfortable support for my walking sneakers.

Quickly received, and cut to size for my sneaker, which makes it extremely comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, I wanted to originally put these in my boots, but they're just a tad too wide/long to cut down, thus why they went into my sneakers. But I will purchase another set soon for my boots, possibly getting a smaller size.

Pros
  • Spenco insole with comfort gel thermoplastic rubber combines cushioning and energy return for lasting comfort
Cons
  • May not be breathable enough for long-term wear

Best bet if you're on your feet a lot.

I've tried every major maker and style of insole. I'm a 6', 220 pound male who works on his feet, on concrete, all day every day, 9+ hours at a pop. I buy the best shoes I can and do the same with insoles. Bang for the buck, these are the best I've found. I go through 3 or 4 sets a year with any brand and style. These consistently provide the longest wear at around 4 months, and the comfort is as good as anything out there.

Pros
  • Ideal for both men and women
Cons
  • May not offer enough arch height for those with high arches
