It's magic! I have a permanent retainer behind my bottom teeth and it is causing tartar buildup along the gum line. I've tried everything to get rid of it, but the dentist always had to use a small buffer to actually erase it. Finally, I saw a YouTube video about Plax and decided it was worth a try for the price. I bought Plax and a small set of dental tools. I used plax before brushing my teeth and then used my toothbrush while plax was still in my mouth. After a few uses, the tartar was soft enough to be scraped off with a dental instrument. After a few weeks of use, the remains of tartar disappeared. Now I use it once a week to keep it off. It has a great taste that makes it a pleasure to use. My son enjoys using it and is very picky about the taste of his toothpaste/conditioner. It is really important.
