Review on π WIX Filters - 57088 HD Spin-On Transmission Filter, 1 Pack by David Angelboy
Faulty filter in filter
This filter is defective. I wasted 2.5 gallons of hydraulic oil because the filter does not allow oil to circulate through the filter. The pressure blows the oil out from under the seal. Maybe it's just a lemon. I put in the old filter of the same brand, it works fine. I'm 74 years old, I've been in heavy equipment my whole life and I've never experienced an episode like this. I would rate this on the negative side of the numeric scale if possible. How do I return a defective oil filter filled with oil? Not worth the trouble!
