Review on Renewed Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Laptop: 15.6" 144Hz, AMD Ryzen 7-4800H, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, RTX 2060 6GB, Phantom Black by Jagvir Singh ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

My previous laptop was a Lenovo IdeaPad 310 15' with an Intel Core i3 6100U installed, and I used it for three years. I decided to take it only in case I find myself in a situation where I need to work from home once or twice a month. Yet as a result of the epidemic and the switch to permanent work from home, a laptop was not sufficient, and a TN matrix with HD resolution just caused the eyes to become irritated and bloodshot. In passing, I should mention that the Legion 5 is noticeably quieter than my last laptop, the IdeaPad 310, which was not designed for gaming. First, I decided to go with either the Legion 5 on Ryzen 5 4600H or the IdeaPad 5 14' on Ryzen 7 4700U. The final choice is a very nice one, and it is made entirely of aluminum; however, it was only available for purchase with delivery from Hong Kong at an additional cost (for 60,000.00 in the Notik store - this is the price if you buy a gray product without taking any risks), and it did not come with an operating system pre-installed (not critical, but buying a license is also worth keeping in mind ). Even though I was able to place an order, they called me back to inform me that all laptops of this model had already been sold out. The latter item is extremely popular and sells like hot cakes. Absolutely, and there is no way to increase the size of the RAM, and the display on the second only supports 45% of the sRGB color space. The IdeaPad 5 14' can only be charged using a regular power supply and the USB Type-C connection, which is a significant item to note. That is to say, simply connecting it into the phone adapter for charging in the cigarette lighter of the vehicle will not work - it will not charge the battery (the idea is good, but the execution is so-so so far). Since I don't even use my PS4 anymore (it's been collecting dust for about a year now), gaming wasn't a factor in my decision to get a laptop. It is sufficient to configure it so that you can work comfortably with the code editor, Photoshop, and a couple of browsers. You are able to connect three external screens, so you can forget about using Alt+Tab altogether.

Pros
  • I have listed the benefits that I see for myself that come from using this strategy, which are as follows: 1) The laptop has a high-quality plastic that is not only on the buttons and the touchpad, but also on the cover that surrounds the keyboard, which makes it very comfortable to use. This came as a pleasant surprise considering that when shopping online, decisions are made based on the form factor and the amount of hardware stuffed. 2) When set to Quiet mode, the laptop produces a very low level of noise. 3) The reproduction of colors at 100% sRGB is one of the best available at this price. 4) The back of the device is where you'll find the majority of the connectors as well as the memory slot. 5) The Home, End, PgUp, and PgDn buttons can be accessed without depressing the Fn button because they are situated directly above the block that contains the numeric keypad. 6) The system can be operated in three different modes: Quiet, Performance (which is only available when powered from the mains), and Auto. 7) White backlighting for the keyboard with two adjustable levels 8) The appearance is unassuming (for a gaming laptop). 9) The ability to update the RAM to a maximum of 32 gigabytes. 10) A large battery that is also Li-Pol in composition (long operating time and fast charging).
Cons
  • 1) According to today's standards, he might be considered to be overweight. 2) a total of 256GB of SSD space.
