I have read the marketing materials for this range of pads and they are interesting. What I can tell you is that they are slightly better than the ceramic pads they replace but not as good as the semi-metal pads. Pads I have used in the past. You were right that this is the sweet spot between ceramic and metalloid. I just want the amount of brake dust to lean toward the ceramic side. It was always nice to have clean wheels when it came time to wash the car. Not sure I would buy these pads again if a good set of ceramic pads were available (much less brake dust and no major performance penalties).
