The added appeal of a surge protector, as well as putting away outlets, is great, especially for some of the larger adapters that are oversized.

Instead of two sockets I now have four and two USB. The added appeal of a surge protector as well as putting outlets away is great, especially for some of the larger adapters that are too big to use another outlet. I highly recommend it. Update: After about 9 months of use, sparks were flying and the pins on the back were singed. The electrician recommended contacting the manufacturer. I also changed the outlet. It's a shame because I really liked it.
