Tip for mounting bracket

For reviews that mention "difficult to install into track", here's an easy fix. Wherever you mount the light, you have enough space to turn the base of the light into a track. Remember to hold the slider up until the lamp base is in place. If you need to pull a little to complete the rotation into position (with the wood block still in the way), use the channel lock and a piece of cloth in the jaw and make the final adjustment. I installed three lights in about 5 minutes.
