Does not rise above the edge of the screen.

The corners are raised and protrude beyond the screen to protect it from falling, but only the corners. In my experience, phones don't usually land completely flat. This case does not fully protect the edges of the screen. I'm buying an Otter Defender that has more meat around it. I thought this thing looked more serious than the otter on my latest phone, but it doesn't.
