I bought this floor tool after the wheel that came with the vacuum broke. My house has almost exclusively wooden floors. While the neck fits snugly over the stock 1.25" hose, the fastening tool is mostly useless on wooden floors. When advancing the nozzle across the floor, the gap is so small that crumbs and dirt just get pushed in front of the nozzle. To do something To vacuum up, you have to lift the floor nozzle and place it directly on the dirt.As an added bonus, pulling back the floor nozzle makes a loud, donkey-like squeak.I'll look for the best tool for the floor.
