Review on InSinkErator F 2000 Replacement Filter 1 Pack by Lynn Cole

The plumber installed our insta-hot after our little butler Franke died 14 years later. Was shipped from the factory with an F-1000 filter. The water that flowed from it smelled and tasted awful. I called support and asked if the F-2000 would solve the smell/taste issue and they told me no. So they sent a plumber to install a new unit. Smell and taste stayed the same. abominable. So, out of desperation, I ordered this F-2000 filter. This immediately produced great tasting water and solved the problem. It's a bit pricey considering the similar GE I have in my fridge is only $30. But that solved our problem. If only the plant knew about it. Installs in less than a minute without turning off the water. Highly recommended!
