Review on AEM 21 737WR Cold Intake System by Roderick Reynolds

Pros: I bought this air intake for my 2016 Fiesta ST. I was very excited as the power and torque gains from the dyno tests looked significant and the black and red trim complemented my car's color scheme perfectly. It looks fantastic and installation was quick and relatively easy, including all the necessary hardware and instructions. Everything was great except for one small detail that was not mentioned on either Revain or the AEM website. Which leads to downsides and a 1 star rating. Cons: This shot is advertised for the 2014-2016 Ford Fiesta ST. However, Ford changed the PCV system for 2016 to comply with the new regulations, I'm told. Instead of one hose connected to the inlet, there are now two connected and there is no way to connect both to that inlet. This product in its current version does NOT fit the 2016 Fiesta ST. As such, all 2016 owners should stay away from this and any other aftermarket service by the looks of it. At least until manufacturers produce products or adapters that take this difference into account. A little extra research before buying would have saved me a lot of trouble with this product. I don't want to try to get it back because that's the part I wanted and I'm still hoping it works. But it's been two months since I bought it in April 2017 and I still haven't found a solution other than cutting the hoses and connecting them with hose clamps and a PCV-T valve. I'm hoping that will change soon so I can experience all the extra joy that 14 and 15 year old boys have.
