No problems with wicks when used correctly
A wick for a flashlight was what I needed. Perfect for my street table lamps. Cover one end with tape, pass it through the hole and remove the tape. Allow the wick to absorb the burner fuel until the tips are completely saturated. I've seen many complaints about the wicks burning too fast and I almost didn't buy it. If you fill the wick as directed, it will not burn quickly. The tips lasted for the whole evening without having to extend them. At 50' I'll be good for years to come. For $12.99, this purchase was a pretty good deal.
